CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY AT PROMINENT AVONMOUTH SPECULATIVE INDUSTRIAL PARK

Construction work is underway at Portside Park, a new development in Avonmouth which will bring more than 150,000 sq ft of much needed industrial space to the area and create around 400 new jobs.

Barwood Capital and Trebor Developments, who secured detailed planning consent for the development from Bristol City Council, are speculatively developing the scheme in a single phase due to strong demand for high quality accommodation in the area.  CBRE and Hartnell Taylor Cook are the joint agents instructed to dispose of the new units.

Located on Kings Weston Lane, Avonmouth, Portside Park is easily reached from Junction 18 of the M5 and will also be accessible from Junction 1 of the M49 on its completion towards the end of 2019.  It is also in a prime position for occupiers operating through or looking to locate close to businesses within the Port of Bristol.

All units are being built to a high quality specification, offering flexible accommodation across a whole range of sizes from 12,500 sq ft to 87,247 sq ft.

“Avonmouth is a key distribution location for the south west and the site is located in Bristol’s most established industrial area. Portside Park has great prominence and connectivity. We are delighted to see construction underway and progressing well” said James Drew, Development Director, Trebor Developments. ”This adds to our 500,000 sq ft of industrial accommodation currently being developed in the south west”.

The units are due to be available for occupation in Q1 2020.
